It was Friday lunch, but I felt the weekend vibrations already. Or perhaps it was an early Three Thirtyitis attack. Whatever excuse it was… feel free to drool.

Growing up in the multicultural melting pot of Sydney’s Inner West as a second generation Australian (of Vietnamese refugee parents of Teochew Chinese ancestry), Jen has always had a deep curiosity about global cuisines, culinary heritage and the cultural assimilation of immigrants. A lover of the finer things in life, as well as cheap eats, her blogging ethos is all about empowering and inspiring people to expand their culinary repertoire. When not running her two companies (she is also the Managing Director of The Bamboo Garden online marketing agency), Jen can be found exploring old-world charms at vintage markets and delving into local eats around the world. She has a weakness for fried chicken.

Girl, I absolutely LOVVVE your food/photo blog! I’m so inspired (and hungry lol). I love love food and always take pictures of my platter before I gobble everything up. But the pictures rarely come out nice or tHIS nice anyway! =D

I agree. I ALWAYS take a picture of my food because it’s such a beautiful experience, to eat good food with good friends and have good times and the pictures of the food are such a wonderful reminder. Your photos are amazing and the reviews really are so good to help me decide where to eat next – thank you and keep it up!
