I Ate My Way Through is an online food and travel concierge service for savvy foodies and travelholics. We’re obsessed with seeking, photographing and writing about local cuisine around Sydney and beyond, and we get a thrill out of being able to enrich your eating and travel adventures.
The quote below says it all:
We’re both an online food blog publication as well as a food tours/events organiser. Whether it’s knowing the best place for Korean Fried Chicken in Sydney or demystifying the colourful backstreets of Sydney’s Little Vietnam in Cabramatta, if we’ve been there and done that, you’ll be sure to see it on I Ate My Way Through.
Who is I Ate My Way Through?
I Ate My Way Through was founded in 2006 by Jennifer Lam and was previously published under JENIUS: The Spectacular Culinary Adventures of a Sydney Gen Y (Jenius.com.au). It begun as a collation of notes, photographs and dining recommendations Jennifer had shared with close friends and family but quickly grew from a personal gourmet logbook to one of Australia’s best known food blogs.
In 2009, Jennifer launched I Ate My Way Through as the ‘experience’ arm of Jenius.com.au where she connected the stories readers were following online, with real life eating experiences that took them into Sydney’s suburban pockets and beyond! Recognising that both brands had outgrown themselves, to celebrate Jenius.com.au’s 7th birthday in mid-2013, both brands joined forces to create the ultimate online destination for savvy foodies and travelholics.
