Kobe Jones, Syndey

Kobe Jones’ Luxury Menu

My last visit to Kobe Jones in 2006 didn't leave that great of an impression, but seeing it was four years ago, I decided to give it another go after spotting a 50% off...
iron Chef Chinese Seafood Restaurant, Cabramatta

Iron Chef Chinese Seafood Restaurant

Iron Chef Chinese Seafood Restaurant is meant to be a part of the new breed. Along side it's sister restaurant, Zilver, they clearly stand out from the traditional Chinese restaurants, in terms of menu range, ambience and furnishing. The restaurant is classically decorated in royal red hues, live bamboo shoots and fancy spotlights. It is probably one of the best looking Chinese restaurants I've ever been to.

Chinese New Year banquet at Sunny Seafood Restaurant

My family held our Chinese New Year Eve reunion dinner a little differently this year. It was the first time we decided to eat out rather than cook up a feast at home, and...

Inner-city Vietnamese restaurants have long been satisfying the appetites of those who crave the fresh flavours of Vietnam but don't necessarily want to drive an hour South-West of Sydney to the likes of Bankstown...
Spanish Tapas, Glebe

Spanish Tapas Restaurant (Glebe)

We chose the Spanish Tapas Restaurant because of it's capability to cater for large crowds. Here, we had a reunion of 20 from Strathfield Girls High School, class of 2001. I hadn't seen most of these girls since 2001! The staff were really helpful and ensured that we had a variety of tapas and paella. The atmosphere is rich and lively. We also got to enjoy a performance by the flamenco dancers!
Diethnes-Greek-Restaurant, Syndey

Diethnes Greek Restaurant

One of the perks of being a food blogger is the exposure to hidden treasures. Thanks to the openness of some who are just as passionate about good food, I have recently discovered a fabulous Greek restaurant. The ironic thing is, it's not so much hidden... as there's a huge neon sign... and I do only just work next door!
Golden Century Seafood Restaurant, Moore Park

Moore Park Golden Century Seafood Restaurant

What a nice ending to a very hectic week. The Eyeblaster AU team switched on our Outlook out-of-office assistants, and diverted our direct lines for what we hoped to be a peaceful Friday afternoon... Lunch was served at the Moore Park Golden Century Seafood Restaurant. The ceiling to floor windows exposed us to the lovely landscaped streets of the Entertainment Quarter. The interior was spacious and airy... also unexpectedly quiet.

Lao Food Crawl & Cooking Class

Lao cuisine is the new Thai. Dishes such as tum mark hoong (the Lao version of sum tum Thai green papaya salad) have been incrementally creeping into our vocabulary, thanks to Northern-Thai and Lao...

Only the Merivale group could spend $4 million on setting up a restaurant and get me THIS excited about a new Chinese restaurant. There are no shortages of modern Chinese/Cantonese restaurants in Sydney so what...
